2013-03-20 MEMBERS OF THE MCS CREWING & TRAINING UNIT

 

Christopher Adams, colleague of many seafarers and known as a first class Purser,  joined MCS as Crew Logistics Officer in February 2009 and takes his role in the day to day mobilization of MCS seafarers to join vessels at various ports seriously and with a quiet sense of confidence.  Chris  started his sea-going career with Safmarine in January 1977 as a trainee in the catering department and served on various classes of foreign-going vessels for over 3 decades.   

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Merle Jacobs joined MCS recently as Cadet Training Administration Officer and comes with good experience in interacting wth maritime students on a day to day basis and with handling various student matters and administration having filled this role at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology.  Merle also enjoys meeting and interacting with the various members of the maritime industry to further her knowledge and experience of the industy.  She enjoys the varied challenges she confronts on a daily basis.

 

 

 

 

Kamilah Sauls joined MCS as Accounts & Seastaff Payroll Manager having left Safmarine where she gained many years of experience in accounts, marine payroll and procurement.    Angelique Blaauw is a recent newcomer to our team and is  accounts & payroll assistant undergoing training and development to further her skills and experience.  Between them they handle all clients and service provider accounts providing a quality service to all.
